For October and
November 2024, the Total Budgeted Expense is $36,666.
For the months of
October and November 2024, SJOG has a deficit (i.e. LOSS) of $2,259.
During October and
November 2024, the parish did not meet its income goal. Any donations you can make to the parish are
very much appreciated and are tax deductible.
In 10 of the past 12 months, SJOG monthly expenses are more than the monthly income received by the parish from all sources.
Thank you for your
generosity. The parish needs monthly income of at least $18,333 in order to
timely pay all of its vendor bills and the monthly salary of our priests and
lay staff.
You may make
donations by placing cash or checks in the collection basket during Mass, by
mailing checks to the office or by giving online at www.sjog.net/donate.
Note: The two months (Oct. & Nov. 2024) income of $34,407 from all sources includes two monthly payments to SJOG of $4,974 per MONTH from the Archdiocese. These two Archdiocesan payments totaling $9,948 partially pay the salaries of Father Kabipi and Father Te for hospital ministry masses and the sacraments for patients at UCSF hospital.
The monthly budgeted expense includes all salaries of the priests and lay staff and an average monthly payment of $1,700 for the 2024 Archdiocesan Annual Appeal.
Note 2: In June 2024, the Archdiocese gave SJOG a $30,000 cash subsidy to help the parish pay its expenses.Even with the $30,000 of income from the Archdiocese, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024, SJOG had an operating deficit of $2,008. (i.e. The parish had a net loss of $2,008 for the 2024 Fiscal Year.)
The St. John of God Finance Committee will periodically provide a snapshot like the one above so you are aware of the financial status of the parish.
